NASCo Satellite

Northern Aboriginal Services Company (NASCo) has a one-third ownership interest in Ardicom Digital Communications Inc.(Ardicom) that is contracted by the Governments of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to install and maintain a digital communications network in 58 communities across the North. Ardicom also provides network services to other pan-northern customers and Internet service providers. The other equal partners in Ardicom are NorthwesTel and Arctic Cooperatives Limited.

NASCo is also engaged in a joint venture with Atco-Frontec Services Ltd. to provide maintenance to 160 remote NorthwesTel microwave sites across the North.

NASCo is owned equally by DII, Yukon Indian Development Corporation, Inuvialuit Development Corporation and Nunasi Corporation.
